Svenskkul is closing down the school sessions

Due to lack of school age children Svenskkul has decided to close down the Tuesday school sessions.
Since we started in 2005 we have had approximate 27 kids learning to read and write at Svenskkul. 11 of these kids are now back in Sweden and the majority of the rest have "out-grown" Svenskkul.
A big THANK YOU to all the families who helped start up and run Svenskkul's school sessions throughout the years, WELL DONE!
Since we started in 2005 we have had more than 40 playgroup children coming for a play. The majority of these kids are still in Wellington and will soon reach school age. If any of you are keen to start up the school sessions again, we are more than happy to help out. Some school material will be stored for future use. Please contact us on: svenskkul_info@sweden.org.nz

We intend to keep up with the Sunday Fun Events once a month. These events will run in cooperation with the Sweden-New Zealand Association and information will be posted on their Event page, http://swedennewzealand.blogspot.com/ (rather than on this page).

We have 2 sessions planned for the rest of this year:
- Julpyssel (Xmas craft) on the 21st November
- Children's Christmas/Luica party on the 12th December

Keep an eye out for these Events!
